Old Forester 1920
One of the nation's oldest brandy distilleries is Old Forester 1920. It was made both before and after alcohol consumption was prohibited. That's useful to know. While many other distilleries were shut down, Old Forester was granted one of the few licenses to keep producing and selling for "medical purposes." In order to prevent tampering, it is also credited with being the first corporation to bottle whiskey.
